Volos is a city, in Thessaly, built in the innermost part of the Pagasitic Gulf, at the foot of Mount Pelion.
We are in the courtyard of the 3rd Primary School of Volos where we see mothers and students waiting for the Holy Blessing to begin which marks the beginning of the new school year.
Two little boys seem to be arguing gently, a mother takes over to settle their matter.
Afterwards, we see shots from the school’s entrance where the teachers have gathered with the priest who performs the Blessing. We see the raising of the Greek flag and at the top of the building’s entrance the inscription "Greece never dies".
Parents and students watch the ceremony that comes to an end and they applaud. A teacher makes an announcement, the students scatter looking for their companions and they leave the school.
