Description
Kastoria is a city in northern Greece in the region of Western Macedonia, built on the peninsula of Lake Orestiada, from which it is surrounded.
The filmmaker starts with a panoramic view of Kastoria with the mountain range of Grammos as a background.
We see a boat with its boatman on the lake, elements of urban construction and the high bell tower of the Holy Metropolis of Kastoria. The filmmaker's company have boarded on a car, while he gives us some more shots of the lake with the boats and the beautiful swans.
The next shots are from the statue of Konstantinos Davakis, a colonel during the Greco-Italian war, which is located in the city’s homonymous square.
