We are in Florina, a city in Macedonia in Greece.
It is October 28, a national anniversary for the Greeks, who on this day honor the resistance to the conquest tendencies of Italy, when the country began to be involved in World War II.
On the city’s main street, a crowd of people watches the parade, an event that has been established for this date in all the cities of Greece.
The parade begins with a flag bearer who is a survivor of World War II. A group of children in traditional costumes follows and the schools as well as the students of the Technical School continue. The director of the School, Christos Thomou, is with the students.
More school students follow, with groups of students giving the rhythm with a drum at the beginning of the lined girls of the Girls' High School.
