We are at Le Bourget, a community in the northeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 10.6 km (6.6 m) from the center of Paris.
The film opens at Paris–Le Bourget Airport and we see a sign on the wall leading to the Airplane Museum. The Musée de l'air et l'espace is a French aerospace museum which is located on the southeastern tip of Paris — Le Bourget Airport and the Le Bourget Commune. It was inaugurated in 1919 at the suggestion of the famous aeronautical engineer Albert Caquot (1881–1976).
The tour begins with a Junkers J52. We see a F-BGSO Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, a Sud-BAC Concorde, a Dassault Mirage IV, a Locheed Constellation variant with radar in the back with a Douglas A-1 Skyraider (AD) in front of it, a Dassault Mirage I/III and a Sud SO-4050 Vautour II among others.
The film closes with one more F-BGSO Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and the Douglas DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain / Dakota) with military code FA.
