Japan 1981 - A documentary by A. G. Bonar
From once-obliterated Hiroshima we go to the Kagurazaka district of Tokyo and then out again to Hakone, near Mt. Fuji, where we witness the impressive annual Daimyo Procession of Feudal Lords. Then, following a visit to the Hall of the Martial Arts we go, on November 15, to the Meiji Shrine to watch, spell-bound, as hundreds of beautifully dressed children and their proud parents pay their respects. Later, at Harajuku, we see the extraordinary spectacle of crowds of young people jiving in the street. Lastly we take the Bullet Train to Kyoto, the old cultural capital of Japan.
