We are in Kissamos, a town and seat of the Municipality of Kissamos in the Peripheral Unit of Chania in western Crete.
The film opens with a car of that era going on a road. We see the green lush landscape but also views of the village. A priest stands outside the car and then we see people who have gathered outside a church.
The view changes and the filmmaker stands on a slogan written on a wall reading "Only Eirinaios Metropolitan Bishop of Kissamos and Selinos". It is the period during which Eirinaios had resigned from his position and the inhabitants of the area demanded for months his re-election, something that happened in January of 1981.
We see shots from the church’s interior space during the service. People leave the church and we see the slogan again. In a red truck with three men there is a sticker with a photo of Eirinaios.
Views from the village follow and the lens focuses on a woman who shops from a fruit market. A poster of the movie "Abuse of power" starring Nikos Kourkoulos is on a stand with the filmmaker zooming in on the actor Manos Katrakis and a girl who looks at the poster.
We see crowds of people in the streets as Eirinaios Galanakis appears. The film closes with the church’s courtyard crowded with people, priests and police officers.
