We are in Tinos, the third largest island of the Cyclades, Greece.
The film opens with the waters that are left behind by the ship. The filmmaker captures a little girl looking at him as well as a woman standing right next to her. The view changes with shots of the Holy Church of Evangelistria of Tinos or Panagia (Virgin Mary) of Tinos. The lens shows us the imposing building which is made of white marble and is the first notable architectural monument of the liberated Greek nation, as a group of friends with three children exit the church.
Afterwards, we see the port with the two women of the group and their children walking, there are people around while we can see a sign that reads “AIGLI" in the background. The filmmaker follows the women for a while as a little girl, who gazes at the sea, steals his attention and then we see them in a tavern having lunch.
The film closes with a shot from the port and the camera focusing on the fishermen unfurling their fishing nets.
