Description
We are at Elliniko International Airport or simply Elliniko (officially Athens State Airport) which was the international airport of Athens for over 60 years, until March 2001, when it was closed and replaced by Athens International Airport "El. Venizelos”.
The film opens with a woman standing in the airport’s arrivals area while holding a baby boy in her arms. The filmmaker shows us an Olympic Airways plane Boeing 707 moving on the runway as we also can see a parked one which is named POSEIDON. The shots of the planes coming and going continue with one taking off and one just arriving as we stand out the passenger buses, stairs and airport cars.
The lens shows us the little boy in the arms of the woman who watch an arrival of a plane and then stands on the passengers disembarking, focusing on a woman.
The film closes with an Olympic Airways passenger bus.
