Description
In this film, we watch part of the route that crosses Taygetos mountain and connects Sparta with Kalamata. The road passes through the mountain range and in some parts it exceeds the 1300 meters altitude.
The filmmaker, driving a Renault Dauphine, is impressed by the high rocks, the gorges, but also the many turns of the road.
On the way we meet a small truck, loaded with large baskets and people.
The shots were filmed by A. G. Bonar during his tour of the Peloponnese in July 1966.
